In Memoriam

John Wood RIP

It was with great sadness that we learnt of the death of John Wood.  John had contributed immeasurably more than most people would realise to the life of our church.  His self-effacing manner and desire for privacy led him quietly to perform his many kindnesses almost unnoticed.  He will, none-the-less, be much missed and we reiterate our condolences to his son, John, and all his family and friends.

His funeral took place at the West Road on 13^th April.

Jimmy Westwater RIP

We equally send our condolences to Margaret and her family and friends on the death of Jimmy.  He, too, in days of better health, had been a regular member of our church.  Latterly, he battled for a number of years with the illness that finally claimed his life and in our sadness we can be glad that he suffers no longer. 

His funeral took place at the West Road on 11^th May.

May they rest in peace.
